• INGREDIENTS
  • 3 olive oil
  • 2 cups FunGuy Fresh White Button mushrooms, sliced
  • 9 ounce bag baby spinach
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 6 hamburger rolls

Oh yeah, it’s definitely grillin’ season now! Bring FunGuy Mushrooms to your next backyard bonanza with this yummy burger recipe.

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a medium skillet heat oil on medium high; saute mushrooms 4 minutes, or until tender.
  2. Add spinach and stir until all the leaves are wilted.
  3. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion powder, salt, and pepper; mix well. Form into 6 equal patties.
  4. Grill burgers 8 to 12 minutes on medium high (400 degrees), or until no longer pink in center, turning halfway through grilling.
  5. Place a slice of Swiss cheese on each burger and cook 1 to 2 minutes, or until melted.
  6. Place burger on roll, top with sauteed mushroom and spinach.
