• Ingredients:
  • 2 sheets of puff pastry, thawed
  • 8oz package of sliced FunGuy white button mushrooms
  • ΒΌ cup dried cranberries, roughly chopped
  • 1/3 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 2-3oz blue cheese, crumbled

The holidays, from Thanksgiving to New Years, are the best time for anything turned into a bite (or two)! Much like this festive mix of sweet and tart cranberry, nutty walnuts and zingy blue cheese!

Just the quick and simple savory treats to make any seasonal gathering!

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F.
  2. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. Lay the puff pastry out on a floured surface and roll it out with a rolling pin until very thin. With a large round cookie cutter or a cup about 2 inches in diameter, cut out circles and lay them onto the baking sheets. Repeat with the rest of the pastry. Any leftover gather together and roll out and cut into more rounds.
  4. Place 2-3 FunGuy mushroom slices onto each tart and add a bit of crumbled blue cheese, chopped walnut, and cranberries on top.
  5. Bake the tarts in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the pastry is golden brown.
  6. Remove the tray from the oven and allow the tarts to cool about 5 minutes before serving.
