• Ingredients:
  • 10oz packages of FunGuy Mushroom Stuffers
  • 2 ounces thick cut smoked bacon
  • ½ cup broccoli florets
  • ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon minced chives

Who doesn’t love a good broccoli dish with bacon and cheese? We can’t think of anyone either! 

That’s why the FunGuy decided why not use that delicious combo and make it bite size? Just take a few broccoli florets, smokey bacon and whip them up with some cheesy cheese and stuff them into our FunGuy stuffers for a funtastic appetizer! 

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 375F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Brush off any debris from the FunGuy mushrooms with a damp cloth. Pop out the stem using your thumb and discard. Put the mushrooms onto the baking sheet, hole side up. 
  3. Bring a small pot of water to a boil over high heat with the lid on. Add the broccoli to the water once it has started to boil and allow it to cook 2-3 minutes. Drain the broccoli of any excess water, break them into small pieces,  and place them into a bowl.
  4. Lay the bacon on a cutting board and dice it into small pieces and add them to the bowl with the broccoli. Add the shredded cheese, cream cheese, and half of the chives to the bowl and stir well to combine. Spoon the broccoli and bacon mixture into each mushroom cap. 
  5. Bake the mushrooms in the oven for about 15 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the cheese has melted. 
  6. Serve immediately.
