Craving a plateful of steaming Chinese dumplings, but don’t feel like taking all the time to make the dough, filling, and then wrapping it all up in those thin little wonton wrappers that will inevitably tear apart?  We don’t blame you!

That’s why the FunGuy has plenty of room in our mushroom stuffers for perfect little mounds of juicy pork dumpling filling, and making those wonton wrappers to be a thing of the past!

Pair with a bowl sweet chili, soy sauce, and spicy sriracha for dipping and we guarantee no one will be missing take out!

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 375F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Brush off any debris from the FunGuy mushrooms with a damp cloth. Pop out the stem using your thumb and discard. Transfer the caps to a large bowl and add in the chili oil, half of the soy sauce, and toss well to coat the outside of the mushroom caps. Place on the baking sheet, hole side up.
  3. In another bowl mix the ground pork, minced garlic, ginger, hoisin, vinegar, sesame oil, and the remaining soy sauce together well. Spoon the mixture into each mushroom cap and sprinkle each with sesame seeds.
  4. Place the tray in the oven to cook the filled mushrooms for 10-15 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through. Remove the oven and allow to cool while preparing the sauce.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together sweet soy sauce, chili sauce, and sriracha.
  6. Serve the “dumpling” stuffers with the sauce mixture, chopped green onions, and sesame seeds.
  7. Have a Fun meal!
