• Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8oz package of sliced FunGuy white button mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon coarse salt
  • 2/3 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup shredded white cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded Gruyere cheese

Looking for the perfect thing to dip those chips, crackers, or even some crunchy vegetable sticks? Look no further than this creamy and cheesy mushroom and onion dip!

Thinly sliced onions and FunGuy mushrooms are sauteed in butter and stirred into a mix of mayonnaise, tangy Greek yogurt, and plenty of cheese. Then at the last minute before serving the whole thing is popped into the oven to melt an additional layer of sharp cheeses.

Make this your rich go-to dip that everyone can enjoy!

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Position the rack in the oven on the highest setting and preheat the broiler in the oven.
  2. Melt the butter in a saute pan over medium heat. Add in the onions and garlic and cook them for 4-5 minutes, stirring frequently. Once the onions have softened, add the FunGuy mushrooms, oregano, basil, parsley, and salt to the pan and stir well. Continue cooking until the onions have started to brown significantly, but not burn, about 15 minutes. Turn off the heat.
  3. In a bowl mix the Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, half of the white cheddar, half of the Gruyere cheese, and the onion and mushroom mixture together. Spoon the dip into a small casserole dish and sprinkle the rest of the shredded cheeses on top.
  4. Place the dish in the oven to cook 3-4 minutes or until the cheese has melted and browned on top. Remove the dish from the oven.
  5. Serve the dip immediately.

Have a Fun meal!
